International policy

At the school we understand that, in the interconnected world we live in, the professional future of many of our students is linked to internationalization. In the field of graphic communication and audiovisual media in particular, the network of collaborators and clients is no longer limited to the local surroundings, it has gone global.

Erasmus+ is a program created by the EU to support education, training, youth and sports in Europe. The school participates in the Erasmus+ program for the mobility of people in the field of education, aiming to:

  • Improve student and teacher training.
  • Increase the professional and intercultural opportunities of the education community

Currently, the EASD Serra i Abella requests mobility grants for on-the-job training stays abroad for students of Second Level Educational and Vocational Training and mobility grants for center staff.

    • The Erasmus internship programs allows student insertion into the global reality of the labor market. The goal of these foreign internships is to improve communication, linguistic and intercultural competences. The on-the-job training must respond to the student’s learning requirements and be related to their course and curriculum.
A national review evaluated the acts of instructor preparing programs in giving experiential parts, for example, practice and temporary positions for school advocates in preparing. Practices reflect proceeding with patterns toward longer, progressively thorough and licensed projects. Temporary positions are seen as exceptionally positive. Work might be required in the zones of consistency in desire for exercises performed during temporary job and the preparation and compensation of site administrators.
Regardless of their significance and importance, as of not long ago little has showed up in the expert writing concerning practice and entry level positions (Pitt, 1992). School advising as a calling and coming about alumni preparing projects with best paraphrasing tool online became quickly after the National Defense Education Act in 1958. Since that time principles for practicum and temporary positions have changed broadly by program. A Manual for Self-Study by a Counselor Education Staff (ACES, 1967) was an underlying endeavor at giving norms to preparing auxiliary school advocates. Since the mid 1980’s the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP 1980-1994) indicates that training are to be 100 hours of firmly directed encounters went for creating individual and gathering guiding abilities. Entry level positions are 600 hours of site-based encounters where understudies practice the full scope of school advising obligations. At present 83 school directing projects have accomplished CACREP accreditation.
  • The teacher mobility program aims to promote exchanges within the world of Communication so they can have contact with new teaching methodologies and create an international network of professionals. The school sends and hosts teachers to and from schools it has agreements with.
